Will, thanks for your message and organizing our first meetup. I think you showed some tools to do some basic photo editing techniques on correcting exposure, etc. I still need to get the software but I thought it would be cool to post a photo that we took as well as the adjustment that we made in photo shop. Then we can discuss the technique used (e.g. burn, dodge, levels, color/hue/saturation adjustments) at our next meetup or online.

Hey Rayne,

Here is a good tutorial I found online that talks about the "Photoshop Dodge and Burn Tool" for photo editing.

I think this is a great idea. I have been participating in Dave Cross's fix it Thursday. It is a great way to learn from each other and challenge our skills.

Dave Cross is with the National Association of Photoshop Professionals ( NAPP). On his blog he posts an image and invites anyone to "fix it". There is a flickr gallery of all the work and how it was "fixed".
